4 Ingredient Energy Balls - Toddler Approved!

Almond Butter Chocolate Energy Balls

These are the perfect snack for before the gym, to throw in lunches, take on the go, etc. They are toddler approved and only 4 ingredients! Rowan and I had fun making these while Finn napped this afternoon. I felt like I needed to share these with you all because they were so easy! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 1/4 cup oats (old fashion or quick)

1/3 cup honey 

3/4 cup all-natural almond or peanut butter

1/3 cup dark chocolate chips (I used mini)

Optional: Chia seeds (I added 1 Tbs), flax seeds, hemp seeds, etc.

 

Instructions:

1.) Mix all ingredients in a bowl for several minutes to make sure everything is combined.

2.) If dough is sticky throw it in the fridge for a couple hours or the freezer for about 15-30 min

3.) Form dough into balls (makes about 24 Tbs size balls)

4.) Store in air tight container in fridge for up to 3 weeks or in freezer for up to 6 months.
